About us

Who We Are

I am Rebecca Biernacki, Founder and Owner-Operator of EverKind Home Support.

I was born and raised the East Coast of Canada in a large, close-knit family before moving to Victoria in 1996, where I have resided ever since. My upbringing instilled in me strong values of warmth, generosity, and genuine care.

After completing my medical training in 2007, I began my career in home support. This early experience highlighted the importance of enabling seniors and individuals facing health challenges to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes, solidifying my commitment to personalized and compassionate care. My professional journey continued at a prestigious private healthcare facility in Victoria, where I honed my caregiving skills under the guidance of experienced mentors and nurses. My roles in various management positions equipped me with strong operational, budgeting, staffing, team-building, and quality assurance expertise, ensuring efficient and compassionate care.

These combined experiences—encompassing direct care, clinical mentorship, and leadership—have reinforced my conviction that every individual deserves kindness, respect, and compassion. This consideration extends to family, friends, and loved ones, as I recognize their crucial role as caregivers.

At EverKind Home Support, these values form the foundation of all our endeavors. As the founder and owner-operator, I maintain a hands-on role in client care, team training, and quality assurance to ensure that you or your loved ones can experience independence, safety, and joy.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy RVing across Vancouver Island with my husband and two Chihuahuas, traveling internationally, and hosting card nights with friends, with a strong emphasis on cherishing moments with my family. EverKind Home Support represents not merely a business but the culmination of my professional journey and a deep commitment to serving with heart and excellence.

Community Involvement

At EverKind Home Support, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that caring extends beyond the walls of our clients’ homes—it’s about contributing to a stronger, more connected Victoria. Our team actively supports local initiatives that promote senior wellness, sense of belonging for older adults and quality of life, whether through volunteering, partnerships, or local events. By giving back to the community that supports us, we continue to build meaningful relationships and foster a culture of kindness and sense of belonging for older adults.
